How is this different from Juvéderm Voluma?
Voluma is great for "lifting" the cheeks, but it’s a bit softer. Volux is much firmer and more cohesive, which is exactly what you need to create a sharp, bony appearance at the jawline.
How long does it last?
Volux is a marathon runner. In clinical studies, results lasted up to 12 months or more with optimal treatment.
Does it hurt?
Because Volux is placed deeper than lip filler, you’ll feel more "pressure" than "pain." Most clients find it very tolerable, especially with the numbing agents included in the gel.
Will I be swollen?
The jawline is a "sturdy" area, but you should expect some minor swelling or tenderness for 3 to 5 days. We recommend scheduling your treatment at least 2 weeks before any major events.
