How long does it last?
Volbella is surprisingly long-lasting for such a thin gel. Most clients see results that last up to 12 months in the lips or undereye area.
Will I get "lumps"?
Because Volbella is so soft and cohesive, it has a very low risk of lumping. At Essence, our injectors use a "layering" technique to ensure a perfectly smooth finish
Is there downtime?
The undereye and lip areas are delicate, so you may experience minor swelling or a "pin-point" bruise for 3 to 5 days. We recommend avoiding blood thinners (like alcohol or aspirin) for 48 hours prior.
Can it be dissolved?
Yes. Like all Juvéderm products, Volbella is made of Hyaluronic Acid and can be completely reversed if needed—though we’re confident you’ll love the glow.
How much will I need?
Volbella is often used in 0.5mL or 1.0mL doses depending on whether we are treating just the lips or the undereye area as well.
